Team Manjushree participates in Assam International Trade and Industrial Fair, 2015

The Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Assam, in association with the Federation of Industry & Commerce of North Eastern Region (FINER) organized the 1st ever "Assam International Trade and Industrial Fair, 2015" from 19th -25th February, 2015 at Jorhat, Assam. This was done to promote entrepreneurship, value-addition and international trade in the state. The event, which was North East India's largest Trade and Industrial Fair saw 75 international participants from eight countries namely Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan, Thailand, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Vietnam and Hong Kong. The event also hosted over hundreds of national exhibitors, regional entrepreneurs, MSME and SSI Units, besides giving opportunities to several self-help groups. The fair provided multiple windows to national and international investors to explore the trade and investment opportunities in the region, apart from providing a platform to local participants to learn about the latest global developments in their trade line.

Team Manjushree, wanting to make the most out of this great initiative and also showcase its capabilities, sent senior delegates to attend the event. We were stationed at Stall No 65 in the National Techmart Pavilion. It was a great learning experience for us, interacting with many national and international participants.
