Manjushree sets up stall at the Financial Inclusion Outreach Initiative
An exhibition on Financial Inclusion Outreach Initiative for The North East was organized in Khanapara, Assam from February 26 to 28 2020, by the Department of Financial Services under the Union Finance Ministry. The objective was to create awareness about the various banking related social schemes and instruments available, and other programmes under the Finance Ministry. There were kiosks for on the spot Adhaar enrollment, opening of Jan Dhan Accounts, UPI enrollment, and submission of loan applications, among other things set up by various banks.
Manjushree Innovations had also set up a stall, along with our bankers State Bank of India, to talk about our product range and our growth over the last two decades, and the opportunities banking sector provides to industries in the North East Region. The stall was manned by our Finance Director Shri Dinesh Mour, and other Team Members.
The stall was visited by various dignitaries and attendees. Honourable Union Finance Minister, Smt Nirmala Sitaraman had also paid a brief visit to our stall. Shri Sanjeev Kaushik, Additional Secretary in the Department of Financial Services, Government of India, and Shri Sunil Tandon, Chief General Manager for North East Region, State Bank of India had also visited our stall, to understand our products. They were presented by a gift hamper of plastic waste basket and goodies. The basket was made by Hanpro, an all-woman initiative helmed by our woman directors. The goodies comprised products whose packets are manufactured by us.
