Manjushree Polypacks wins Gold Award at QCFI event

Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) is an internationally recognized and registered non-profit and non-political organization since 1982. QCFI is responsible for implementing Quality concepts under the TQM umbrella across, several industry verticals. Manjushree, in its commitment to Quality Management has been a long time member of QCFI, to benefit from and contribute to the forum.

QCFI conducts Chapter Conventions across the span of the country where delegates from various organizations participate. The Guwahati Chapter of the Convention was held at Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Lalmati, Guwahati on October 8, 2017.

The theme of the event was "Quality Concepts: Creating Value to the Society". The event was presided over by Mrs Manjula Saikia Bhuyan, Additional Director of Industries, Government of Assam, and Shri Manoj Das, Director, IIE.

Sixteen teams participated in the event. Ms Jyotismita Devi who represented Manjushree Polypacks Pvt Ltd presented a case study on Mis-registration and lining problem in printing machine, highlighting the problems and identification and mitigation techniques for the same.

She was awarded the top honour - the Gold Award for the event. Manjushree is proud of Jyotismita and her team which worked tirelessly for the event, and this reinforces our belief in the importance of a healthy quality management system for our processes
